Ray Reid Soccer School to Hold
Soccer Camps in Granby this Summer
Storrs, CT – The Ray Reid Soccer – in partnership with the Granby Rovers – is excited to announce that it is holding a Young Stars Camp and a High School Camp in Granby this summer. Both weeklong camps – directed by four-time national champion collegiate coach Ray Reid and his championship staff - will be held July 14 – 18th on the Granby Rover Fields at Salmon Brook Park in Granby from 5pm – 8pm each day.
The Granby Young Stars Camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-13. The camp coaching staff will work with players to improve their dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting technique in a fun-filled environment. Players ages 9-13 will also be taught technical refinement and receive an introduction to the tactical side of the game. All campers will participate in fun, small-sided matches with their appropriate age groups, helping each player improve their skills in a week. All players will receive a complimentary event T-shirt, soccer ball and a camp bag.
The High School Soccer Camp is open to boys and girls ages 14-18 and is a great way for older players to hone their soccer skills and get ready for the upcoming Fall season. Individual technique, team and positional tactics, as well as proper and sport specific conditioning and fitness, will be taught by Coach Reid’s championship camp staff All players will receive a complimentary event T-shirt, soccer ball and a camp bag.
If you are considering an overnight camp for your son, the Ray Reid Soccer School’s Elite Academy held at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, offers some of the best facilities in the nation for both field players and goalkeepers. The camp coaching staff features some of America’s best coaches from the college, ODP and high school levels. Campers will play on the beautiful training fields in Storrs, train in the top-flight indoor facilities and swim in our Olympic-size swimming pool.
